Did i change my formation!?

i just lost 3-0 to chelsea and this message came up..what i dont understand is why..for the past 2 years i have been playing 4-4-2 then the match before this i played a christmas tree formation but i never changed it at the top i just dragged the players into new positions so what is this message about?

Just because you only dragged the players into a slightly different formation, and not change the drop down tactic menu, the AI will still recognise a change in formation. Lesson learnt, next time you want to change a formation before a big game, do so by the drop down menu. Or better still, stick with the same formation you have been using for the past 2yrs.

You put your players in different posisitons, so of course you changed your formation.

Dragging the players into different positions is a change of formation, there's no issue here.

yeh but i first i didnt to a 4-5-1 it was more 4-3-2-1 and secondly read this it says i usally play 4-5-1 which i dont.

But the game will often interpret 4-3-2-1 as 4-5-1, as they are basically the same thing if you think about it.

I would call a tactic I've been using more of a 4-2-3-1, but it's usually tagged as a 4-4-1-1. Not a problem for me.

i think your missing my point..

i always play 4-4-2 i change it one game then go back to it and loose this game it then says i am trying a new formtion bah..

a bug?
