Send To Specialist

Hey,

you know when a player gets injured you can send him to your physio or you can send to specialist why would you ever not do this?

Its mean they come back quicker and well why wouldnt you.

It costs to send to specialist I think. So if your a lower league club you might not be able to afford it

It doesn't say it but it is obvious that an external specialist costs more than a physio who is at the club.

There appears to be no reason at all not to send to the specialist, especially as you have no clue how much it does cost and you are totally unable to guage the worth of either move.

It will cost a lot more to send a player to a specialist than it does to have your physio(s) manage his injury.

I agree - presenting this information would make that a much more interesting decision.

Personally, as an LLM, I always send my core 15 players to specialists, and never give them injections ... while my fringe/backup/youth players get left to the physio, and have to take injections if they're in the starting lineup due to other injuries / suspensions / etc.

I don't know if this is true but it would make sense.

Surely attributes would drop a little for anybody who is out of action for a lengthy period, whether he is being treated by a physio or a specialist would have no effect.

Specialists are often at the other end of the country or sometimes abroad where as the Physio is with the club so it would make sense if some sort of stat was lowered more.

It doesn't make sense to me. Physical attributes ought to resist decay better while at a specialist, for example.

I agree with what Nobby_McDonald says - it always shocks me that I can have a player out for long enough that his "Training" bar drops all the way to zero, but his attributes don't drop at all.

(*-Rumor-killing note: the attributes don't seem to drop during injury whether or not I send the player to a specialist.)

I have also wondered about this but I have never seen anything about the cost involved so i do wonder if it is factored in somehow. I have never tried LLM so I wouldnt know if it did affect your bottom line or not. It should be costly to send someone to a specialist so you would have to think about if it was worth it or not. I would hope that this is factored into your costs of running your team but it would be interesting to know what you pay for this service.

And if there is no charge for this then there really should be. Since there is never any mention of a fee, I do wonder if there is a charge for this or not
