Reserve Team Question

I am playing in England and have a reserve team. I was wondering how you all go about setting up your reserves. Do you set the starting eleven and the subs or do you let your Assistant Manager do it? Just wondering. At current I let my Assistant set the lineup but I was thinking it might be better if I set it so I can have certain players get playing time.

I usually set up the formation/tactic and starting eleven along with subs and just let the assistant manager be at the game so to speak. Otherwise my assistant manager might give game time to some players I don’t rate that highly over ones I want to be getting games.

I let my assistant manager do everything to do with youth and reserves. Although, thinking about it, it would probably be a good idea to get him to use your first team tactics so the reserve and youth players get used to it.

go to manager on the top bar

then the club e.g liverpool

then at the bottom of that drop down menu go to team settings

i have my best youth coach managing the youth team ( martin laurson )

i have my most prommising coach looking after the reserve's ( jamie carragher )

and leave my assistant to enjoy the time off this allows him
