Reserves Games To Regain Match Fitness?

This was always good for getting normal first time players back to match fitness by going to the reserves and then returning to first team when match fit! What happened to this option I thought it was well good and realistic?

Yeah it seems like it was deemed surplus by the SI management. But you can just declare him for the reserves and un-declare him when he's match fit, pretty much works the same way only you got to pay more attention

I do that all the time and don't see it as any problem. I seem to remember the 'until match fit' option was bugged and he never returned to the first team unless you selected him, which rather defeated the object. It's fine now, imo.
