Possibility of getting sacked

Im currently managing Crewe in the Championship in my second season, doing well so far, but my wage budget is £58,233, and my actual wage bill is £71,603, that means I'm £13,370 over my wage budget, and for a club like Crewe thats a lot. It wasn't so bad until Daniel Sturridge was released by City so I pulled off a huge coop by signing him at the cost of my wage bill being increased by about £5000.

Anyway my question is can i get sacked for being so far over my wage budget? Or if things get really bad can i get sacked if we go into administration?

if you go to your confidence summary the board will let you know how well you are doing with the wages. i doubt the wages alone would get you sacked but if you start to underperform as well then you may be in trouble

Can you bring your transfer budget down to accomodate it?

Already thought of adjusting the budget but ive used it all up, as for the confidence on wages its poor and my jobs stable, lets hope my league performances will keep me my job:D

you should be fine so long as you dont go into admin, even if you did you may still keep your job but lose players to lower the wage budget. Just offload some in the next transfer window, like said above you should be ok as long as your performaces are good

I always seem to be over my wage budget and not get sacked. For example I went 10k over with Huddersfield and wasn't sacked. You'll be alright.

Hopefully it will be ok, ive worked out that by the end of the season ill be about £3.5mill in the red, basically if i dont get promotion to the prem then i think ill be screwed the following season
