taylorsmen
I'm still unsure how the "width" works, the wide and narrow, what does it actually mean ? i know i should know this and feel daft asking, but i'm a doughnut and would like a simple explanation as it might help. Cheers.
Ediocy
It more or less refers to how much of the pitch width-wise do your players utilise. If set to wide, your flank players will be more inclined to hugging the touchline, which suits play based on crossing. If set to narrow, your flank players will be more inclined to limit play towards the centre of the pitch, which suits play based on wingers cutting in from the flanks. Width also dictates how much space would be available for your players or the opposition to take advantage of. If you set your width to be wide, it would free up more space across the pitch for your creative players to work with. If you set your width to be narrow, you would essentially tighten up your formation and not give your opposition much room in the middle to exploit.
