BigRedMart Posted April 19, 2009 Share Posted April 19, 2009 I am having a decent season with Bognor Regis and am currently in a healthy mid table position at Christmas and unbeaten for 9 games. After adding 14 new players to my squad in the summer I need to offload some dead wood to reduce the wage bill. Several of these have six months to go on there contracts but I could do with off loading them now as opposed to waiting. I have no intention of playing them and their wages between now and the end of season is greater than any compensation penalties. My question is that if I release them now, will it have any affect on team morale? None have favoured personnel but I don't want to upset the squad harmony etc. I really need to reduce the wages but don't want to mess up my season.
