When should i stop training a new position?

Sorry if this has already been covered but i have retrained a WBL to a AML and he has just become natural at AML. Does that mean I can stop training him on new position now as it takes up 10% of his training workload. If I stop will he slowly downgrade back to accomplished?

Yes you can stop but he will go back slowly unless you have a training schedule specifically for wingers. Check out some of the training threads in the Tactics forum FAQ thread.

Theres no real difference between Acomplished and Natural imo. There might be a small decrease but I'm always playing ACM's in CM and they play well. Same with DMC in DC provided they're acomplished so I wouldn't worry about letting him slip down.

Unless there is proof that Natual is a great increase.

No, if you stop training the player in that particular position he'll gradually get worse in that position.

If you keep playing him in that position it's less likely to decrease iirc.

If you are playing him in the new position then he shouldn't lose any ability in it when you stop training.

It depends on his hidden VERSATILITY attribute. If ity's very high, he should retain his position, but if it's not great he may lose it when not using it.

Sometimes its just easier to sign someone who can play in that position rather than spending, sometimes months, training a player to play there lol.
