Rubinja Posted January 23, 2008 Share Posted January 23, 2008 Is it just my imagination, or is it nearly impossible for defenders to get an over 7 average rating? I've been going for 4 seasons now in the Belgian League and find it impossible to get defenders good ratings, which is not good for their value. I usually play 4-4-2 and variants. Any ideas? I found some DC's with previous history as average rating 7+ however when I've signed them they never live upto that! Always an average of about 6+! Worst of all, if I send them out on loan they seem to get over 7 for the other club!!! You can get Burdisso on a free (higher leagues) amd he does seem to get over a 7 average but you have to wait a couple of seasons to get him. I signed Mark Howard from Brondy in my first seaon for £545k his stats aren't anything to shout about but for a cheap DC he's alright Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
dingo_dog Posted January 25, 2008 Share Posted January 25, 2008 I have similar issues but have quite a successful team so my thinking is that it's not that there NOT playing well, more that they aren't really in the match as my forwards/midfielders are battering the opposition? Surely if you win four nil then the CB won't have been that troubled so won't REALLY be playing out of there skin.
