Failure in Online Network Game - Patch 9.3.0 Problems

Hey,

Im new to the forum and having a problem with running a current online networking games with friend.

We started the game in version 9.2.0, with me acting at the server and using Hamachi to link the 2 computer up. All was running nice and smoothly, he simply linked into my IP address through hamachi and we've been playing the games for many weeks now. I was requested to update to 9.3.0 a few weeks back and I blindly did. From that moment, my friend tried to link into the games but was refused because he was running the 9.2.0 version on his computer. So he downloaded the 9.3.0 patch, expecting it to fix the problem, he is now running on it but the games still won’t not link up to each other and we have been unable to continue the game.

We've been playing it for a long time and have invested a lot of time into it, so really don’t want to have to start all over again.

Has anyone had the same situation? How did you get around it?

Is there a download which could uninstall 9.3.0 and get us get to the original setup?

Any ideas how to fix the problem?
