Where can I find a girl that loves FM!!!

Recommended Posts

yeah it is irrelevant but lets face it, who wouldn't love it if instead of their girlfriend asking why you are addicted to a computer game or words to the effect of, its me or the game!! wouldn't it be great if she said, why are you playing that formation? i'd sell adebayor and play van persie upfront with eduardo!!!

bring on FMdating!!! lol

(note - I do not condone the above statement  )

Your lucky guys. There is nothing worse then a woman's scorn for FM. Glad to hear there are some exceptions to prove the rule though! Many a time has my girlfirend said to me 'your not gonna sit and play your silly manager game are you!'...

Then she switches of the power before you save the game. ;)

My girlfriend also plays FM and visits the forums... I'm lucky. She has her own PC too, so she doesn't interfere with my playing time.

Is she better than you? :)

My wife asked last night why I was wasting my life on a computer game, then went back to watching the 2 1/2 hours of backside that passes for entertainment on prime time weekday telly.......

Amused me muchly :)

lol! She's not American, is she? Just that she seems to have no sense of irony...

My g/f just asks if I'm getting thrashed at my 'silly little game'. She also makes quips along the lines of 'If you're so good, why aren't you actually working in football'.

Now she enjoys sketching, but would chuck a right wobbler if I said 'If you're so good, why isn't your stuff in the Tate?'

I've noticed the odd mention of girls that play FM!!! Where can i find a chick that loves the games as much as i do? perhaps the forum should have a dating section!! :)

Maybe start off by not calling them "chicks", past experience suggests they aren't too fond of the term.

AcidBurn's 'missus' plays FM.

My wench plays FM and she is pretty good at it tends to have 1 maybe 2 games on each FM. Gives me time to watch the football and play the Xbox 360 a bit more. Nice to see the term missus being used aswell Arsenal.

Everyone's fifty-third favourite tactical guru, Cleon?

I have drawn up a list of every player I have ever managed, and it will be presented as a petition to keep me on if I'm ever told to stop playing.

Well, I'm a female FM player but, unfortunately for the OP, I have a husband who would not take kindly to my playing away matches!

Haha... nice play on words there.

I once remember my ex telling me that playing computer games was sad and that I should read more... Then she found The Sims and I didn't hear from her for a week lol...

Plus my wife would exact revenge by dating Torres, Ronaldo and Nasri.

If my wife ever wants to go to a Reading match, I'll quickly storm the training ground and break Kevin Doyle's legs. Then I'll warn Jay Tabb that he'll have the same coming unless he's mysteriously ill on the match day.

My missus does understand why i play it, once i convinced her i wasnt "internet dating" of "looking for porn". I dont think she is too keen on how much time it takes me to perfect it, often implying im "too old for computer games" and reffering to it as "that silly little manager thingy". If she gets too moany i just throw something shiny/pink/fluffy/sparkly at her and that keeps her amused for a bit!

Hahaha! No... But i think Emmerdale/Hollyoaks/Coronation Street/Eastenders/Waterloo Road/Holby City has taken its toll.

I laughed at this... then had to check the missus wasn't reading over my shoulder :)

Laughing at chauvinism is not big or clever :D
