Kan Posted April 13, 2009 Share Posted April 13, 2009 It's 2017 and I'm playing as Liverpool. I'm in the World Club Cup Championship, and this year it's in South Africa. I've played the semi-final and yay, I'm in the final...but now I've got to go back to England to play two league games against West Brom and Sunderland and then my team have got to fly back out to South Africa and play the final. Hazzydeepy Posted April 13, 2009 Share Posted April 13, 2009 I thought the World club championship was always held in Japan (I will check and EDIT what I find) - but anyway, I don't think that you return home from the world club championship until your participation in the tournament is over. Either it is different in FM to real life - or this is a bug. EDIT: Forget the comment I made about the competition hosts, it seems that Japan isnt always the place where it is held - It will be held in UAE in 2009 and 2010.
