smitty1965 Posted April 12, 2009 Share Posted April 12, 2009 I have just got a new PC with Vista and am having trouble installing/running FM2009. I have tried re-installing but do not get a shortcut on the desktop, and if I try to run FM it does not go through the loading process but goes straight to the main screen where I can load last game etc. The last game will come up but when I go to play a match nothing happens because FM did not load in the first place. The activation key is accepted, and there are no errors on the installation log. I have tried to re-install both through steam and the other method, but now it skips this section on the installation process where you choose method.
