wakko jakko
I recently asked my board for a new link with a feeder club, without specifying any particular type of club as my preference. Of the 4 teams they offered me, 2 teams were recommended for the purpose of work permits, one in Poland and one in Romania. However, i'm not still 100% sure on how the whole system works. If i am trying to sign a player who needs a work permit, how am I supposed to send him on loan to the work permit feeder club, if he cant join my team in the first place? Also, why would the player be able to join a team in Eastern Europe if he can't sign for me (Cardiff)? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.
hamilton162
He will be allowed to sign for you on the basis that you loan him to a feeder club where he will be able to gain a work permit in order to play in England. Try and tie him down to a 5 year contract as if he has to spend a lot of time in that country and when you come to renew his contract, he still can't gain a work permit, you will lose him on a free. Hope that helps mate

Brian Shanahan
Also if he is Latin American, it is good to have a Spanish feeder club (or loan him there) as it only takes 2 years (+ however long the application takes) to get a passport from Spain if you are a Latin (including Brazil)
