Do you always sign the same old players? **PLAYER NAMING**

For eg, if you are using Barcelona, you sign player A. Then you start a new game in england, maybe with Spurs, will you sign player A again?

In older versions of FM yes, but in 09 there are so many quality regens that generally if I've been at a club for a few years before moving on there are regens I can get who are better than the real players in the team I've just left, so in 09 no I don't tend to sign the same real players over again. I have in my current save signed a cracking regen midfielder that I had at Milan for my Man Utd team.

Sometimes but only 2 or 3, Srna, Sakho and Veloso normally.

I used to when I used to start loads of games every year. Now I tend to only play a few save games each year in different countries, so I don't think I'd ever buy the same player twice.

I try not to. One player that I've signed the most across multiple versions and saves is Arturo Vidal, because I can't help myself.

i always used to sign Mexes but ive got no idea why....

I nearly always try to sign Simon Vukcevic and Stevan Jovetic because they both fit perfectly into my standard tactic.

I did always sign Mascio as well but he has been removed from the 9.0.3 patch (or atleast I can't find him)

I rarely start with any big clubs any more, mainly lower league clubs, so not really.

If I manage to find a decent free signing for 1 club, then I may try and sign him up for another lower league club I manage in another game

Nope. But then, I almost always start at low levels in different countries, so that's not suprising.

Yup, I think there were only 2 Liberian players in the database so was nice and easy to find

Remember signing his regen for QPR in League 1 and he ripped it apart.

Hmm I found myself doing it a lot in FM08. Some of the common ones I often signed was Farfan, Arshavin, Riquelme, Nakamura, Zapata, Squillaci, Pineda, Diogo... Off course not all of them for every side, but I played a lot and I've signed all of them more than 3 times.

This is kinda natural though because one of the first things you do is scout and find affordable players that you really like. These don't change from game start to game start, so you will be very compelled to sign players that you know are quality for money.

I've tried to refrain from this in FM09 (and have done so succesfully) since I find that it gets a little old if you do. I also stopped signing free young prospects (in 08 you also learned who they were pretty quickly) and rely on intake and monitoring young players myself.
