Player Tendencies

Is it me imagining it, or do players play in certain ways past the presence of the PPM's?

I've noticed little things that some fullbacks are more attack minded that others and an MC will sit a little more than an AMC when playing in the MC role with the same instructions.

This is not a complaint of any kind, in fact I use it to fine tune tactics through a game (and I find it more effective than altering sliders), but I want to know if I'm seeing what I want to see or if it does happen in the ME.

(Obv. I know the PPM's, I'm talking about unseen tendencies or mentalities past the PPM's).
