They're in the champions league the next season and I'm not in Europe. Howcome? does anyone know of a reason? fmfan08 Posted April 8, 2009 Share Posted April 8, 2009 winner of the fa cup gets 6th place, however if the winner of the fa cup is top 4, then the europa league place goes to 6th on the premier league table. or example IRL, man utd played spurs in carling cup. if spurs would have won, they would have got europa league. but man utd won and because they will finish in top 4, it has opened another space for europa league adding to 5th place Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
