gilly128
Just finished my 1st season and in July of the 2nd season. just agreed terms of 110k a week for Gerrard for a fee of 75 mill. I only have 40 mill in the bank but have a budget of 95 mill for transfers. If i confirm the bid, will my owners just top up the club balance? Don't want to mess my finances up I'm Man City btw
NepentheZ
You'll go in the red. Chances are they'll pump more in though.
Neilio
Yeah, they'd probably cover it somehow. However, there is a chance they won't, leaving you 35 million in the red
ScouseFromTheSouth
As City if the balance goes below about £30mil the owners invest more cash into the club to ensure that it stays about that balance. You'll go about £35mil in the red but at the end of the month the owners will get it back up to £30mil.
LUFC Barmy Army
Yeah as above the board basically pump money in if you ever spend 'x' amount on transfers at the end of the month
phnompenhandy
That's basically what a 'sugar daddy' does - whenever you end the month in the red, he'll dip into his pocket and ensure your balance sheet, er, balances! Gerrard is as great in the game as he is IRL at the moment!
rmfarey
Forget about the finances, you gotta buy him, he is awesome. He even beats this so called "AMC bug" when you play him in the hole and gets great ratings!!
SFraser
75 million for a 28 year old AMC that lacks both movement and creativity and whose game defining workrate and aggression is going to cash checks his physique cannot cash in about two years? No doubt he is a great player but you could have got Chiellini, Messi or Silva for less, or two of those 3 for about 20 million more.

But with this game you will still be getting an 7.30 average out of him till he's 36, so that is 8 years of brilliance. He has averaged that for me since i started the game and he plays in the troublesome AMC position.
PureForce
always done good for my man city team, either as mca or mcd or even mr
gentlemanjames
He's 39 on mine, still averaging over 7, at CM, DCM, RM and even RB/CB at times.
DanGLiverpool
Agreed, playing Gerrard in the position Rafa does, just behind Torres (might be changed position soon as Saivet and Higuain are coming in January 09, tycoons ftw), and he has been immense. So far, in 20 games for the club, he has scored 16 goals, with an average of 7.6 (first season albeit, so still 28) Well worth 75 million.
RickH
He isnt worth £75million
DanGLiverpool
He isnt worth £75million IMO he is, but hey, I am a completely biased Liverpool fan, so trust me with valuations about Liverpool players I wouldn't.
