trekkie_ram
In FM2008 playing as Leeds United with the -15pts start was disappointing, due to the fact that the in-game board didn't seem to have an awareness of the points penalty, and were calling for your head if you weren't top of the league after 10 games. Is this the same for Luton here? I haven't bought FM2009 yet, but I am interested in having a go at keeping them up. But I don't want to get sacked after 30 games because I'm bottom of the league, despite having play-off form. Can anyone please confirm whether the game is or isn't like this? arsenal_2111
I don't think this is the case, as the first SI Challenge was for Luton and I doubt it would have been that if it was bugged.
SI Staff Martin Allen Posted April 4, 2009 SI Staff Share Posted April 4, 2009 Your default expectation as Luton is to put up a fight against relegation, I reckon you could (managed to keep them up myself so didn't find out) go down and keep your job, I was in relegation spots untill about 3 games from end of season so they'll definantly be patient with you
