squad gelling/bonding

Recommended Posts

i think it varies. i went a complete season with squad set as "the team are blending well" i still finished in play offs, i wonder how much this effects the form of the team?

it's hard to look at bad results or performances and say todays bad game was because the players are still getting to kow each other etc!

West Ham start off with the game with a lot less new signings then most, so I think as bhoy said - around 10 -15 games and there will be much more gelling/understanding in your team. Be prepared for it to take longer though, as there are numerous factors such as how often you play new signings and the tactics you use which can determine how much/little a team bonds in a certain time.

^^^^ maybe a bit of 'putting the cart before the horse there ^^^^

In my experience it can come down to individual players and their adaptability as well.

Starting at west ham isnt going to guarantee any cup wins. If you dont bring in any new faces you should be ok after about 15 matches.

There are many factors.

- number of players brought in

- language

- teamwork rating

- mental attributes of the players

- your attributes/reputation

- tactics used (simple or complex)

- you name it, I guess there are some more
