wakko jakko
I recently got promoted with Cardiff and noticed that I received no prize money for my final league position: Although it says that I received 425k, I believe this was money from the cups I played in. Is there any explanation behind this? Thanks.
joejoep
im not 100% on this, but i dont think you get prize money for promotion, because the gate recipts/tv revenue etc will more than cover it. i think you only get money if you dont get promoted
wakko jakko
I have heard something like that in past games. Seems a little harsh though?
joejoep
i think its probly true to real life tho, why would the champ throw money away to clubs about to get a £40mil windfall?
madmac111
What are you talking about? the 425k is from the previous season, as you have started a new season, you have yet to get any proze money cos you havnt won anything
YNWALFC
He is saying that he only got £425k in prize money from the previous season despite the fact that he got promoted from the Championship As others have said it will be down to the fact that you will make a load of money from TV Rights etc while you are in the Premiership next year
Neji
Only the top two teams in the Championsip get prize money if I read correctly.
