PaulHartman71 Posted March 29, 2009 Share Posted March 29, 2009 First of all, the inspiration brilliance of the thread title comes from Rancer, and not myself A lot of you will remember WW's (aka Walcott's Wonderkids) Oceania dominance sign up, which involved becoming a CEO and assigning budgets to a Nation that would then hopefully become a dominant force in Oceania and potentially World football. This sign up is partially like it, but different too. 20 Users from the forum will become CEO's or Head of 'Mediorcre' European Footballing Nations, in the hope that their investments will launch 4 of their brightest domestic prospects into European domination. Forget a semi final of Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United, we're talking about a semi final of Linfield, TNS, Elfsborg and FC Thun! The head FA position was seen as an important role, which will require a regular to regularly post (I'm not talking about having to post every single day, but once every 4/5 days etc). I've pm'ed around 20 users, and pretty much all of them agreed to be a CEO. There will be 20 places for people that didn't get to be CEO's, originally it was going to be as players, but I didn't really see how I could incorporate it into the sign up. In-fact the other 20 users will sign up to be managers, each one will be randomly assigned a Nation, and then one of the 4 clubs. Have only done one test so far so don't know anymore than you do because the test I did was to give all clubs from Sweden the best in everything. After Whoopy had an attempt I did write out another explanation but it was about 5 times longer than yours.
