Timeline: c. 1000-1050: Groups of Rajputs begin migration out of northern India toward Persia and Armenia. c. 1100: Romani people recorded in the Byzantine Empire. 1300s : Romanies already settled in Wallachia and Serbia, where they are perceived as aliens and enslaved. 1407: Romanies recorded living in Germany—within ten years they are expelled. 1418: Romanies recorded in France 1422: Romanies recorded in Rome. 1425: Romanies recorded in Spain. 1471: Anti-Romani laws passed in Switzerland. 1492: Spain passes anti-Romani laws and subjects Romanies to the Inquisition as heretics. 1498: Romani settlement in the Americas begins, when four Romanies accompany Christopher Columbus on his Third Voyage. 1502: Louis XII expels the Romanies from France. 1526: Henry VIII expels the Romanies from England. Romanies caught entering England are to be punished with death. 1530: Egyptians Act 1530 passed in England. 1538: Portugal expels Romanies to Brazil. 1560: In Sweden, the Lutheran Church forbids any dealings with Romanies. 1563: Romanies are denied entrance into the priesthood by the Council of Trent. 1589: Denmark imposes a death sentence on any Romani caught in the country. 1595: Ştefan Răzvan, son of a Romani immigrant from the Ottoman Empire, rules Moldavia for four months. 1619: Philip III of Spain orders all Romanies to settle down and abandon their traditional lifestyle and culture. Failure to do so is punishable by death. 1936-1945: Nazis begin systematic persecution of Romanies, that culminated in the killing of 500,000 to 1,500,000 Romanies in what is called Porajmos, the Romani Holocaust. 2006 January: The University of Manchester has completed its "Romani project", the first morphologic study aiming to collect all the dialects of Romani language throughout Europe and dealing with their coherency. 2006 -: The first entirely Romani party has been founded in Hungary, called the "MCF Roma összefogás" (MCF Union of the Roma), although they reached only the 0,08% of total votes (from a total population registered for voting around 8 million people) at the parliementary elections held on April 9, 2006. June 9th 2007 - The Romani football team play there first ever game beating Southern Cameroons 3- 1. (Fictional) December 16th 2007 - The Fédération Rom de Football applies for full FIFA membership. (Fictional) March 11th 2008 - FIFA announces that the Romani nation will enter qualifying for the Euopean Championships in 2012 and can arrange to play friendlys from 1st July 08. (Fictional) March 19th 2008 - The Fédération Rom de Football announces that they have come to agreements with the FA's of England, Spain, France and Italy to enter a Romani football team in each of there leagues. So what have i done? For the last couple of weeks i've been researching editing and testing the database and have finally finished adding the Romani National team as well as giving 2nd nationality Romani to players of Romani descent and 4 new clubs to the lower leagues of the 4 above countrys. What do we need? The 4 clubs need players and will be holding open trials for the next few days. How will the sign up work? I will control the Romani nation and leave the 4 club sides under the capable control of the AI, sign up details below ... brettney1980 Posted March 28, 2009 Author Share Posted March 28, 2009 Motspur Park is the National Stadium located in the fictitious suberb of Romanichel (located in London) the other grounds have also been added to fictional City's so that amongst other things we'd still get Romani Regen's and players can gain Romani citizenship all this has been tested and seems to work fine the only problem that arose was for some reason Home nations players don't seem to gain Romani citizenship on the player Personal page it says days completed 0. Racing Club Manush in particular needs players having only managed to so far sign a Winger to play for them in there first season. Cem Romengo are also keen to sign more potential players with 3 so far on the books they are keen to locate a Centre forward or 2. London Bohemians FC are happy to announce that there attack is looking promising and they are now said to be hoping for Defenders and a Goalkeeper. Deportivo Triana are still on the looke out for backup players in all areas as well has a 2nd Forward and a Centre midfielder or 2.
