Hazzydeepy
I dont think you can activate the game unless you have the keycode with you. You may have to buy a new game - but there maybe a way round this.
peter-evo
I presume you didn't authenticate with steam?
ahmufcwafc
I presume you didn't authenticate with steam? Wouldn't make much of a difference. As far as I know, your keycode isn't saved on your computer unless you bought the game through steam. Don't think there's any way of authenticating without the manual unfortunately. Couldn't you log in on your steam account and it be ready to download?
ahmufcwafc
Couldn't you log in on your steam account and it be ready to download? Possibly, you might still have to re-authenticate though. Not entirely sure to be honest.
peter-evo
Worth a try, if he authenticated on steam.
Ken_8472
Sorry, I no this is a slight deviation and I don't want to hijack your topic, but I have a quick and somewhat related question. My computer is messing about at the moment and I may need to take it to the store that I purchased it from tomorrow in order for them to fit a new HDD. If I do this, will I be able to install FM09 on my new HDD from the disc, or will Steam still have it registered to my old HDD?
peter-evo
You get five authentications, so it should be fine.
