New Feature

Was thinking this earlier and was wondering what peoples views were on this new feature...Instead of having yourself offering contracts to players when in a transfer for them, perhaps you would have to sign an agent to do this and depending on how good the agent is depends on how sucessful it would be.

Or, you could get your assistant manager to do them! I think you can do this when you have a certain option ticked in the settings

Not 100% sure, but i think i have seen the option.

You can get your Ass Man to deal with contract renewals but all contracts for new players coming into the club are dealt with by you

Or ask the board to sign a Director of Football to do the negotiating like Dennis Unwise.

Yep. Forest have David Pleat as their 'football consultant'. He's useless though.

I like the power of being able to do this myself. It's not entirely realistic but I prefer this way. I wouldn't be against it if it was an option.

Definate no from me, what if you found a top youngster and missed out cause of your agent, only for him to sign for a rival for less than you could have offered?!

:thup:whs, I wouldn't object to this as an optional feature, I personally wouldn't choose to use it, though I can see why some users may find it appealing as a way of bringing added realism to transfer dealings.
