GB68
The answer to every managers' prayers. The perfect ploy for protecting a lead. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/7944919.stm With apologies to all decent football fans. This is rather sad and distressing, but I must admit to having a little giggle thinking about this and FM.
shakeable
The fan left nothing to chance by shooting him in the head. Simply shooting him anywhere else or try and get on the field was apparently not an option.
Administrators Lucas Posted March 23, 2009 Administrators Share Posted March 23, 2009 the moral of the story: don't try and score a goal in Iraq....

Saxonaitor
This teaches a Lesson It's Better to get Kung Fu Kicked by Cantona In England than get shot in Iraq.
tlm_77
I think it's a absolute disgrace. Makes me ashamed to be human. I mean, I loose my temper at times because of football, I've smashed 2 perfectly good monitors because of FM alone, but shoot someone...just staggeringly wrong. kashmirshazad
Thats taking the ****, imagine there was an option on FM to execute a player once a game. lol
Daley
I'm sorry guys but I don't think this is really a laughing matter. I can't imagine what the 'supporter' was thinking or exactly how deluded he would have to be to do that. Spare a thought for the players family, team mates etc etc before making light of a terrible event.
the toon
of course he must had planned something like that before the game anyway, so it wasn't just a momentary lapse... Or was it just a coincidence he had his gun with him in the stadium? I can't imagine he was just standing there watching the game, he sees the opposition is about to scores whilst wondering 'hhmmmm, what's this i have in my pocket. Oh, a gun, man i can prevent this!'. The stadium security were doing a right bang up job there also. ''i'm i allowed to bring this gun''?. ''yes, please just restrain from using it sir''. Glenn Wakeford
Seriously not funny, and this is about real life so should be in the football forum where there is already at least one thread on this. Closing.
