FakeMcName
I have one very talented sweeper who every season provide me like 6-7 own goals. Also, he has 18 position and 19 tackling and 13 pace - a good defender as you may think. So: 1) Where I can see statistics like that, about own goals( cause it doesnt appear in regular season stats) ? 2) What characteristic is wrong in his player profile? Why he wanna upset me?$) ? FakeMcName
I mean, he is very good defender, but every 5 games he put it in the wrong net ^(
grahamf
Don't think you can find a stat for own goals. How's his composure? Maybe he just freaks out under pressure, or failing that he just really doesn't like you.

Maybe he just freaks out under pressure, or failing that he just really doesn't like you. He doesn't like the manager, therefore he continuously scores deliberate own goals? That would be funny. I wonder how long he would last in real life before people noticed the conspiracy
BigRedMart
Whats his decisions attribute? maybe hes a dumbass
Stevicus
Decisions, positioning, composure. Key attributes, if his attributes are not good enough, he shoudn't be allowed to be positioned anywhere near your goal.
Smallen
I'm sure it's a bug, whenever a cross goes in at either end on mine 50% of the time an own goal happens
ricki.bertolino
(reply to Sam Allen) - I'm afraid I don't agree with that. I've played 2 seasons (started new game with 9.3) and I only had 2 own goals. I play in lower leagues with a very average team (Ivrea C2 and then C1 - Italian league)
SSGTroyer
The thing that bugs (sic) me about own goals is that they don't seem to have an effect on the offending players' rating. I've had guys put one away against themselves and end up with ratings well over 7...just doesn't seem right. I mean, if they make a "Mistake lead to Goal", they'll be doing quite well to get about a 6...
hamilton162
I've never had a problem with own goals on any patch. The most own goals scored by my team in total in 1 season is 3. I hardly call that 50% Sam Allen EDIT: Yeah, 999 posts
Smallen
ahh I thought it was a known issue with 9.3, I've had insane amounts of own goals, and I know for a fact when the patch was released there were others who had the same problem

I wonder how long he would last in real life before people noticed the conspiracy That made me think about the William Gallas comment when he was at Chelsea. Mourinho didn't want to sell him to Arsenal so Gallas came out and said he'd deliberatly start scoring O.G's if they didn't let him leave the club. Nutter!
