I've been playing FM for a few years now and I have a silly question: Is it possible to start a game as the manager of a club (Inter) and nation (Canada)? Also, Canada doesn't come up as an option at the start of the game. If I only wanted to manage Canada the country (without also managing a club), how do I do that? Thanks a lot. small Mac Posted March 22, 2009 Share Posted March 22, 2009 I don't think it is possible to be both club and national manager at the start unfortunately. In order to play as Canada national team you'll need include more Canadians in the game. This can be done by using the 'retain player' function at the start or probably by loading the MLS. medo24 Posted March 22, 2009 Share Posted March 22, 2009 One way you could try and be both pretty much at the start would be to add two managers, one as Inter and one as Canada. Then retire the one in charge of Canada and then apply with the other manager. You may not be guaranteed to get the job but unless you use a third party program then its either this way or to just wait until the job becomes available.
