Activation Problem!

I am furious to be honest. I was told to unistall the game to get the data editor to work on FM09. I uninstalled through Steam then I re-installed I went to click on the Icon and I needed to typr in activation key. When I typed this in it said that it was already active. I followed the instructions in the FAQ'S thread but there was no certificate. What makes this worse is the problem still persits with the data editor 'unable to load editor could not find resources'. I love football manager and have spent hours on it since the day of purchase way back in November on release date but I can no longer play on it. I need help urgently as I was already paying for an incomplete game (No editor) no I have payed for a game I cannot play!

ive got same problems only difference is i have never played it...lol..

i have put in codes about 8 times calling from a mobile its doing me nut in... takes me back to the same poxy screen to re enter the codes!! altho previously saying it was fully activated... starting to give up
