I'm currently in my 3rd negotiation with a 15 yr old regen from Nigeria. when I offer, there is nothing said about him having to wait 'til he's 18 to move and because he's 15, he's not had any international caps. Cavenagh Posted March 20, 2009 Share Posted March 20, 2009 It's a FIFA ruling that players cannot be transferred across international borders before their 18th birthday. So you should be getting that message . (There are three exceptions to the under 18 ruling though: a: Their parents move for non-footballing reasons. b: They're an EU citizen moving to an EU country. c: The club they are transferring from is within 50km of the border to the country in which their new club is situated, with that club also being within 50km of that border.)
