vanpersie11
I don't think Stamford Bridge is expandable. Although it is possible your board will have a new stadium built if they feel it is needed.
nots
the reason why it wont get expanded is because the board don't want to have to make too many blue plastic flags before every game
jbrowes
I have played as Chelsea for many games over many years and the stadium has always been expanded. In one very long game they took over New Wembley's 90,000 seater! In my current game, last season (2011) I moved to Chelsea from Valencia and won the EPL & Euro Cup. At the start of this season (2012) I made a board request for "Stadium Expansion" and the reply was "the board were of the same opinion and indeed plans were already in hand to expand." gaz9274
I am in first season with Chelsea and I'm doing not too bad if I do say so. Asked the board for stadium expansion and they assured me plans were afoot to expand the bridge.
SI Staff Michael Burling Posted May 29, 2008 SI Staff Share Posted May 29, 2008 It could be that because of where the stadium is that the ground can not be upgraded therefore you would have to wait to have enough funds available for you to build a new stadium. blueboy10000
I started a game with Chelsea and hadnt bothered asking for increased capacity as I know in real life the club cant get it. However, just after the end of my third season the Board decided to increase the capacity off their own backs - by about 3,000 seats or so. Not massive but interesting that they did it without me prompting them.

SkidRo
at the beginning of second season the stadium expansion plans were haulted because the local council didnt grant planning permissions or such. i just hope i can get it expanded soon. need the money
