Any nation is viable but obviously places like Brazil* & Argentina would be easiest. A points system will be used. Points: Goal: GK - 10 Defender - 7 Midfielder - 5 Striker - 2 Assist: GK - 5 Defender - 5 Midfielder - 2 Striker - 2 Miscellaneous: 1st Cap - 5 1st Goal - 10 MoM - 5 Game: Win - 3 Draw - 1 Loss - 0 Tournament Progress: Win the Tournament - 500 Finalist - 250 Semi Finalist - 175 Quarter Finalist - 100 2nd Round - 50 Awards: Top Scorer - 25 Best Player - 20 Goal of the Tournament - 20 for 1st, 10 for 2nd & 5 for 3rd Best Goalkeeper - 15 Dream Team (Per player) - 10 Dream Team (All of them) - 100 *This team were the original team used for this idea which I completed on another forum for FM 05 or 06 To avoid confusion points do total up, so if a player scores the amount for a goal is added to the amount for first ever goal. Although obviously you wouldn't add your "Tournament Progress" points up Any questions just ask. How to Post a Screenshot While in FM, press the 'Prt Sc' button (usually next to F12 on your keyboard). Open an image editing program such as Paint and paste the image Save the file as a JPEG Upload the image to an image hosting website such as Photobucket Post the direct Url to the image here. How to Add Links At the top of the forum, go to 'quick links' then 'edit options'. At the bottom, select 'enhanced interface' and save the changes. This will give you access to the extra posting tools that make it easier to post links. Once you've done this, highlight the word you wish to turn into a link, then use the link button (looks like a little globe) to paste in the direct Url to your screenshot. I FORGOT! You must load only the leagues and all players of your chosen nation! I have like 1 friendly to play before the torunament. I'll probably use the strongest available squad for the friendly. Renan then pulled off 2 more spectacular saves as Rossi forced him to parry it and then he tipped the rebound from Montilivo wide. A great passing move by Italy is ended when Cassano is forced to shoot from 20 yards. Simple save for Renan. Brazil have their first chance when Barreto picks up the ball 16 yards out. He smashes it straight at the advancing Buffon. Second Half; Brazil are reduced down to 10 men when Thiago Heleno picks up a second yellow. Brazil's defense are split open by a pass from the wing by Montilivo and Jonathan can only clear it to Camaronesi who hits it straight at Renan. It is tipped over the bar. Kerlon picks up the ball on the half way line, passes it to Amauri and runs on. Amauri lays it back to Jean who plays a great through ball. Kerlon latches onto it before lobbing Buffon from 20 yards. Unfortunately for him it hit the post. Taddei passes it to Amauri who turns Barzagli around 30 yards out before running into the box and thumping it past Buffon into the bottom left corner. Barreto picks up the ball on the left wing before crossing it to the 6 yard box to a waiting Kerlon. Kerlon, with his back to goal, takes a few touches before turning and shooting. It hits Barzagli before resting in the bottom right corner. Amauri goes close from 30 yards but it's tipped over. Italy go close with 5 minutes left when Di Natale hits a good shot. Renan parried it but Perrota couldn't finish the rebound before De Rossi committed a foul. First to come was USA with their competent squad. Overview & Match Stats Team Performance Points ----- 14 first caps --> 14x5 = 70 MoM --> 5 Draw --> 1 Overall it is not bad. At least we grabbed a point and still have the chance of going through. Now, we are to face Brazil though. They'll provide a tougher experience, that's for sure. Overview & Match Stats Team Performance Points ----- 4 first caps --> 4x5 = 20 Nothing can be said and done to be fair. They are much more powerful against us. At least it is only 2 goals. That goal difference may take us to 2nd Round or send us home. A day later USA faces Senegal in an important fixture and look what happened. Senegal vs U.S.A Now that's a good chance. We can just need to overcome a resilient Senegal side that's all. Brazil will surely dispatch U.S.A. Onto the final and the most important game now. Brint it on Senegal! OVerview & Match Stats Team Performance Now that's what I'm talking about. First goal, first assists and we are onto 2nd Round. Wohoo! Points ----- 5 first caps --> 5x5 = 25 MoM --> 5 Win --> 3 M. Ceylan's first goal --> 10+5 = 15 U. Demirkol's assist --> 5 S. Yildirim's assist --> 2 Let's have a look at the final group table & total points gained till now. Group D Points gained in group stages --> 151 Overall a good attempt given the team strength and the group. We are to play Spain in 2nd Round so I'm not at all confident going into the game. What a coincidence though, Turkey will be playing Spain this saturday (tomorrow) on WC Qualifiers at Spain P.S: By the way, just realized that nearly all of the players listed me as favoured personnel because they get their first caps with me. How awesome it is P.S.2: Other group games have finished and the tree is up for the latter stages. World Cup Tree View - 2nd Round Semi-final is not far away if we can beat Spain.
