Me just now am managing Manfredonia who start in the Italian Serie C2. Just finished the 2016/2017 season into my second season in Serie A and sitting mid-table at moment. History so far is: Season Division Final Position Other achievements 2008/2009 Serie C2/C 4th place promotion through playoffs 2009/2010 Serie C1/B 4th place promotion through playoffs 2010/2011 Serie B 15th place 2011/2012 Serie B 15th place 2012/2013 Serie B 15th place 2013/2014 Serie B 6th place knocked out in playoff semi final 2014/2015 Serie B 1st place promoted as champions 2015/2016 Serie A 13th place 2016/2017 Serie A 11th place Board currently wont expand on my 6000 seater stadium either which is a bit of a let-down but will be hoping for expansion within next few years. lil ole me Posted March 18, 2009 Share Posted March 18, 2009 Man Utd (i know its easy) but i sold Tevez,Berbatov,Carrick,Hargreaves plus around 5 others at the very start of the game and bought 12 potential stars(aged 17-20). After 2 seasons finishing 2nd in EPL my side has matured and are very unbeatable. For the past 4 seasons have won practically everything on offer and want to try a new challenge but it is hard not to leave this young squad as it has potential for the next 10+ years and i have made a nice healthy bank balance of over 800m. ricki.bertolino Posted March 18, 2009 Share Posted March 18, 2009 I'd just love to do what you did, and get promoted to Serie B in 3 seasons (and then Serie A). At present I'm in the first season with Ivrea (Serie C2A). Finished 2nd shy of 1 point from the first, just won the playoff semifinal and tonight I've got the final . I'm happy from my first season, counting that after 8 games I was only 15th, but then my players start playing well and mesh as a team and I put together 18 games without loosing. Just finished season 2011, placed 9th in the BSP and we just won the FA Trophy. It's the 1st ever cup win for FC Utd and hopefully will be the first of many!
