weeeman27bob
Which leagues have a low number of games? I'd be looking for a league of between about 8 and 16 with the lowest amount of games possible.

Crpls
A-League plays 21 games in the regular season IIRC, there's a pre-season cup and playoffs too, though. A few leagues play 26 league games.
La Furia Roja
argentine league, their season is split into 2 opening and closing season, you play each team once (19 games) then the winner is champion of open season ... 2 months later you play the closing season (the reverse fixture) the winner is champion of closing season, then the team with the highest average points is the overall champion, essentially it feels like 2 seasons per year. Hazzydeepy
Doesnt the MLS have few games in a season (sorry if this is incorrect ) I know nothing about the american game. It just seems that they would have very few games in a season by looking at the number of teams.
weeeman27bob
Sorry what I should have said in the opening post, is that I'm looking for leagues with about 8 to 16 teams, but that probably won't come up with low league games, so don't worry yourselves. Crpls
Greek league has 16 teams, the Norwegian league is either 16 teams at the start, or expands the next season (can't remember.) Pretty sure all 16 team leagues play 30 games (for the league, cups vary obviously.)
YNWALFC
The Scottish Premier League. Has 12 teams play each other 3 times each. Then the bottom six will play against each other and the top six will play against each other for the final 5 games

jamboblue
a low amount of teams does not necessarily mean a low amount of games like in scotland where they just play each other another time over
JimmyIOCS
I've done screenshots of the league rules for the top division of each country so you can see how many teams/games each league has. I did it just for myself but I suppose it could be useful to others. Give me 5 minutes, I'll upload it. Edit: http://www.mediafire.com/?ly242x3mzwf There you go. BenArsenal
The Singapore League has 12 teams who play each other three times. The wretched scheduling means that it still runs from February to November.
