Guest Lewis81
Does anyone know whether having a winning youth team affects the quality of a teams youth intake next year? Is it worth taking on youth players in from the transfer market that have the potential to improve the performance of your youth team, but have less of a prospect of making it into your first team in order to attract better players at the start of each season?? stuboy
Youth comps seem to be pretty low quality, I have had medicore players banging in more than a goal a game when they will never make it at a decent level
R-dizzle
My good youth players are always bought in, hardly ever get them taken in at the start of the new season. They play in the youth team till they're 17 unless they're still not that good then its 18 then they're in the reserves where they can play with better players so hardly any of my gems sit in the youth team. That said, they still seem to do well.
RoryS08
I dont think it affects it in anyway because after the league season below I still got rubbish players form youth intake
stuboy
why would having a good season affect next years youth intake? Its your current u18s who are playing in the team
BobMUFC08
Next years intake is affected by the standard of your youth facilities and possibly your club stature (i think)

Its your current u18s who are playing in the team Next years intake might be affected by a good season because a successful winning youth team might be attractive to potential new recruits rather than a bottom of the table youth team. It could be seen as an indication of the effectiveness of the youth team setup
