auberius
I'm just playing my first Champions League campaign in 09 and wondering whether the CL tiebreak rules are applying correctly; my group table looks like this Leicester P5 Pts 10 Barcelona P5 Pts 9 Bayern P5 Pts 7 Feyenoord P5 Pts 3 The last round is Barca v Leicester and Feyenoord v Bayern. Now, if results between teams is the first tie-breaker, Leicester have qualified (Bayern can only tie on points and it was 3-1 in Leicester and 1-1 Munich), except I'm not getting a Q (the same is also true in at least one other group). Is this just a case of the game not being clever enough to work this out in advance?
Yonezzz
Yeah, you're definitely through, but I thnk the game gets a bit confused before matches like that - I've had it tell me a win would gaurantee the league before, even though it could then still go to goal difference. Oh, an just in case anyone is as stupid as I am, away goals aren't counted in the head-to-head calculations. I once ended up finishing second and proceeded to get knocked out by Barca because I thought 1st was safe when it wasn't.
