andy liv
Hi, Hope someone can help me on this? I have been playing FM09 on my desktop PC for a while now, but am soon getting a laptop and will be playing the game on this instead. I installed the game through Steam initially. Can I/ how do I transfer my FM game, including saved games onto my new laptop? Or does loading Steam onto my laptop do this anyway? Thanks!
Ediocy
Copy your "Sports Interactive" folder in the "Documents & Settings" folder of your PC over to your laptop and you should retain all your game settings and save games on your laptop. Regarding the game itself, download Steam onto your laptop and log into it with your username/password. You can thereby download and install FM09 onto your laptop. Do this before you transfer your data over. Edit: Re-read your post and realised your laptop has yet to arrive.
