Coop
Would running Reserve and Youth fixtures in full detail help them (your players) progress any better?
small Mac
This is a question i would also be interested in fining out the answer for. Whether the fact that all the match stats are produced through the 'proper' match engine for the youth players leads to a better/faster development of attributes and CA. My guess would be that any extra affect through playing in full detail would be minimal. I think also that the reserve/youth level of football is so low that improvements through playing in these competitions are going to be small anyway. GillsMan
I can't speak for FM09 but I did try this in FM08 and didn't notice any real difference, but of course it's difficult to properly test given the huge number of variables involved in a player's development. I'd make an educated guess that it doesn't affect it, however, given that the ME doesn't appear to have a direct correlation with a player's development.
