themoffster Posted March 9, 2009 Share Posted March 9, 2009 Can anyone tell me if the defending has improved in the latest patch? I am keen to give the game another shot, but when a 80yd ball over the top leaves you premier league defenders running under it before scampering back it takes the shine off the defensive mentality game that i play. Bromley Raven Posted March 9, 2009 Share Posted March 9, 2009 There are much fewer balls behind the defence and the fullbacks are much better at dealing with wingers. I have certain issues with the latest patch, but with regard to defending, and the realism of play in general, it is a massive improvement on the previous version. Mitja Posted March 11, 2009 Share Posted March 11, 2009 it has improved a lot but there there are still things like to many long shots attempts which waste many attacks-> every player is able to turn in or around box like Torres yestrday and shoot, i'm still yet to see decent counter attack (from me or AI), closing down has issues. but defensivly it is an improvement from 920.
