BobMUFC08
Need to sort meself out, to be fair i was working at mcdonalds so FM probably did me a favour there, but of course when i lost me job i wasnt getting any money in so i couldnt afford to go out and to kill the boredom at home i played FM, loosing the missus was probably the worst. Just been offered a new job and im enrolling at col again in the summer so its getting better, cutting down on the FM hours so it'll be happy days soon, temped not to even buy FM10
Johnyboy
wow fm10 tempted not to buy are you serious joking its up to you
marcwestham1478
Good luck though mate. Didnt know people get addictede like that. Just play it in moderations i stop after every couple of hours so i dont get bored and to into the game that i wana smash peoples heads in wen i lose! king coo
well as a mature student im trying to moderate my FM playing, find the best time is late at night with a glass of vino. What draws you in to play FM ?
Hulston
oh dear thats all ive got to say about bobs confession thats laughable..
Twellman24
No it is not laughable, and shame on you for not being supportive. This is the only place where Bob can probably be 100% honest, and you're not helping. Bob, I know what you mean; I sometimes have to remember to not devote all my time off to FM. Just tone it down and enjoy everything else you do in your life; it will make FM time more enjoyable too. It's like eating a bad meal when you know you've been working out all week. Keep it up rebuilding your life, we're all supporting you here

Keep it up rebuilding your life, we're all supporting you here Yeah, whs...as a disabled adult with various health issues that prevent me from working I can very much relate to your situation Bob mate...FM really can become an addiction (and not just in the jokey in-game addictedness ratings sense of the word), however I managed to gradually cut back from literally playing from when I woke up to when I went to sleep with only taking breaks to eat, down to a couple of hrs a night. It aint easy but it can be done and by talking about it on here you've taken a big first step in the right direction and deserve plenty of credit for that (rather than being derided by some as 'laughable'). Hulston
firstly... if your a disabled adult then I very much understand because, well I don't know what your disability is but im guessing that you can't do as much as say someone who isnt disabled. thats fair enough. but to choose a game over your girlfriend... sorry I don't care what both of you say, I think thats funny, and if indeed he couldn't help it and is quite literally 'addicted', then again I can't understand.. It's a game that is meant to be enjoyed as part of free-time, and yes I know alot of people may play it at work, or when they are supposed to be doing homework or whatever, but to go to such extremes is baffling. I'm not going to apologise for my comment because its my opinion. and twellman24, you can say shame on me all you want, but until I feel the shame then it dont matter. Stevicus
It's all about finding a good balance. Socialising and FM is hard, but a good solution is to play in windowed mode and go on MSN. Get the game on PSP and play it on the sly at work:p Not the same on PSP, but it should fulfil cravings. I am not going to open a new thread but i have a suggestion. Why not make computer saves compatible to be transfered to PSP so you can play it when you are not at home?
jkae
everyone........i always have fm running i have created a little program so that as soon as i turn the pc on fm loads and my last game loads up automatically. Sad i know and it took me a week or so to perfect but it works!

joshmay07
some people are sadly addicted to A computer game tbh its just sad and kinda shows that you have no life i play fm a fair bit but if im invited out or have work id rather do them (work ish :/) lol and lots of things cum before fm people need help and quickly
Hulston
thanks, is it worthy of the wishlist thread? And i think this might only appeal to the PSP gamers, not sure how popular an idea it would be to the PC/Mac only users Well it is obviously your call and your right the PSP gamers would probably be the only ones particularly interested but theres a potential for PC/Mac users being interested because if they are away or whatever they can then play the game.. I only play the game on the PC and fortunately I have a laptop so I can just take it with me if I'm going away for a weekend or something but for those that don't, I think it would be useful to say the least.. go for it I say. always worth a try isnt it. Its not being selfish i just cant be bothered with all the hassle. Its a great program, but on a alot bigger scale and different operating systems, and then different game versions would take alot of time, especially as i do programming all day then to come home and continue would be annoying. crafty bison
I think thats a cracking idea to be honest. sort of like the inter-link between fifa on the playstation and the psp. that'd be awesome It's been suggested before and it literally isn't possible because the PSP can't handle the 'full' PC game. 50_kwache
I used to be pretty addicted to it but I guess as I've got older, i've grown out of it a bit. Plus the wife works about 6 or 7 night shifts a month which means I get enough proper "sessions" to satisfy any FM needs without any arguements ensuing. sn0112
is when you imagine the FA cup third round draw taking place in the familiar setting with two ex-pros picking numbered balls from a hat...and you read out the names of the teams in the voice of the announcer whilst commenting on the interesting ties....
