Nicki Posted March 7, 2009 Share Posted March 7, 2009 I have a problem with the match engine, since the new patch it is running very slow with stutter. I have tried everything, if I play more than a few matches (or go on holiday for a longer period) it starts running slow. My System AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ (socket 939) 2 GB DDR Ram (PC-3200) 512 GDDR3 Sapphire Ati Radeon X1950 Pro (Pci-express) Creative X-FI Extreme Music soundcard Windows XP Home Edition with service pack 3 All drivers and programs are up to date and the computer have been scanned for Malware without finding anything. I have cleaned and defragmented my pc. I have also checked the hardware temperature and it is not high. It should run on this setup as my laptop, which is much than my stationary pc can run without problems. Any help would appreciated. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I’m not sure if it helps, but I had the same problem and it worked for me: just download drivers for your athlon http://www.amd.com/us-en/assets/content_type/utilities/AMD_Processor_Driver_1320053.zip and dual core optimizer http://www.amd.com/us-en/assets/content_type/utilities/DCO_1.1.4.zip, install them and 930 should run as smooth as 920. Aytumious Posted March 7, 2009 Share Posted March 7, 2009 I have a Nvidia 7600GS. With the newest drivers, the 3D engine stutters horribly. I reverted back to a rather old 94.21 driver set, and the engine runs flawlessly. In the land of PCs, who the hell knows what the problem is or why it is happening.
