No Goalies who can play for Ivory coast?!

so after 6 seasons, and unprecidented sucess, an internation team FINALLY offered me a job.

good old ivory coast. I had fond memories of taking them to world cup final on 08, and accepted.

so 10 days later, my first squad selction, and i find, to my amazment, there is not a single goalie of Ivorian descent!!! :O

so i figure, as it does with my reserve teams, and presumably, with my 1sst team, if i have no alies, a grey player, as i call em, will spawn and i can just play them

it comes to match day, and noone hads appeared...

so i have to play a striker with a goalie rating of 2, the best in the squad, in goal.

we won 4-1, but th epoint its, i oculd really use a goalie...

will one spawn at end of season, or am i doomed to play with no goalie forever?

This has been an issue since around FM08 I think. A regen GK might be generated, but it's no certainty. The only real way of getting around this issue is by loading all players from the Ivory Coast when starting a new game.

Haha mate of mine had to play an outfielder in goal on FM08

Did you call up a full squad? Perhaps if you leave a spot or two empty, a "greyed out" goalie will appear...

The fact you won 4-1 is amazing enough as it is, and if I were the opposition strikers, I would feel ashamed.
