Why don't the patches i download work:confused:

Did you run the installer after downloading it?

yeah i updated it and then went to load the game but the game did not load

and came up with failed to load up graphics system any ideas how to fix it.

Try updating your graphics drivers and Direct X

When downloading this file please use the Firefox browser as some people have encounter difficulties when using Internet Explorer

You should also check that you are running the latest graphics driver, you can do this by visiting the computer manufacturer website, or by visiting the graphics card manufacturing website.

Also if you are running Steam, make sure this is not running when attempting to install

By any chance, did you activate the game using steam?

i did do it through steam first but it always come up that so i downloaded it normally and it worked perfect but i wanted the new patch and now its not working.

You do know that steam automatically downloads the patch, right?

yes but steam never seems to work on my laptop as it comes up failed to set up graphic sytem so im downloading the directx
