Vads Posted March 4, 2009 Share Posted March 4, 2009 Guys, as I see it, I have no way to continue the game. I'm stuck at the point where I have to select my squad for the latter stages of the UEFA CUP. During the winter-break I've sold several players which were in the squad. The game forces me to have at least 15 players in the UEFA Cup-squad, but also 4 which are really home grown. Even using the "Auto select"-functionality doesn't give me a squad with which I can continue. Do I have to restart my game and don't fire all my useless homegrown youngsters? Just fill it with Youth Team players, and if you have any First-Team players who are foreign, and under the age of 21, don't register them. They can play automatically anyway. That's what I've done. I deliberately missed out about 6 players, so that I could get my 'veterans' in... But the youths could still play, because they were youths. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

matt_132 Posted March 4, 2009 Share Posted March 4, 2009 on 08 i made my own team, and i had this problem, as i didnt bother making a youth team. i think i just quit as it was in the summer (IRL) and i was getting a bit bored anyway, but could i have holidayed even if i didnt actually have the required no. of HG players at the cluc (none lol) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

tigerhgrrrrrr Posted March 5, 2009 Share Posted March 5, 2009 Wouldnt it be helpful if those players that are so young that they do not need to registered for Euro Club competitions are highlighted in a different colour or with an indicator!, I spend a lot of time working out who will be under 22 by the cut off date, which seems easily avoided. When I dont register a young 1st team regular I am always worried that for some reason he wont be considered "Available" although the rules say he will be - but then I am overly cautious.
