Timelines...

Hi there fellow manager freaks,

This isn't going to be a whine nor dine post, but is really just a curiosity I have contemplated for some years, never really accepted as truths - until I got acquainted with FM 09.

When playing all the versions there have been down the line up until the split, the games themselves were pretty fast paced. This led - for me at least - to have a very good sense of the players; the events of the matches were very recent in memory.

As it is, I think the much slower pace, yet still with the same assessment to the timeline - has led me to have a deteriorated relationship with my players.

Is it because I am getting old, I can't evolve(reprogram) myself to the slower pace. Is there anybody else like me in this particular area of CM/FM life.

PS Hope this post makes sense - it is hard to tell sometimes.
