hazzabee Posted March 3, 2009 Share Posted March 3, 2009 Was just wondering if anyone else actually plays football on a saturday afternoon? I play in the spartan south midlands league division two for my university. It is at level 11 of the English football league system which effectively means if we got 11 promotions we'd be in the premiership. We are in effect trying to do a 'Team Bath' and get our uni playing semi-professionally. This is our first season playing proper saturday football having previously played local saturday football and we are hopefull of promotion, currently we are fifth in the league out of 18. We have recently been given the funds to approach clubs to groundshare with for next season so we are eligible for promotion (need floodlights). If we get promotion it will also mean we are just another promotion away from the biggest achievement of all.......featuring on Football Manager!
