blueglobefootball123
I'm currently England manager on FM09 in 2018 season and the World Cup (which I have won ) is played in England. However all Englands games were played at Old Trafford  Any one else experienced this? Why are the games not played at Wembly (which is listed as Englands home venue)/
Mezz Boms
it might be because old trafford is bigger than wembley. On my FM save im in 2012 and old trafford is 100,000 seater stadium and wembly is only a 90,000 seater. You would have though the games would have been shared round the stadiums with the biggest being played in wembly though :S
m-platt
that seems a good reason for it. England will play their games at the 'best' ground, hence the reason the games are not spread around the country though

Wembley is of course 90,000 as you mentioned.
jptykes
Wouldn't it depend on which group England were drawn in? Group A might play mostly at Wembley, Group B at OT, Group C at some other ground etc
