Player Grading

Hi,

I have a question about how you arrange the database.

How do you grade the players, ie decide who is 200, 190 -10, etc.

Do you do it as a ratio of the total database, so in a simplified system the best player gets 200, the next 199, etc.

Or do you go through the database and assign figures as you go, eg. player x gets 156, y gets 182, etc.

Also you get any problems, like for example who gets picked for the national team? Do you have a starting XI in mind when you assign players abilities and attributes?
