Thanx for ruining the database SI

So SI games decided to allow january transfers to take place in the beggining of the season

however

the injuries which are gone now is still there.

Christiano Ronaldo is not injured anymore

Walter Samuel is not injured anymore

Chivu, Fabregas, and many other stars are not injured now

So why didnt you guys remove the injuries but placed the january transfers in the beginning of the season?

Why are you ruining the game over and over?

Injuries are never edited in patches iirc.

Far from ruining it, they have provided us with a patch which users like yourself have been b*tching about for the past month or so. There are a few data issues, get over it, it's a game.

It had always been done this way.

Just to say if you've played other iterations of FM you'd have known about the January transfers being there at the start of a new game as well

You do realise that you can still use previous databases with the new patch? Also, there is a data editor that you can use to make the database look how you want it?

As far as I know, there's been no change from the way these database updates have always been done. You can always edit the 9.2 database to set up future transfers if you so wish.

If you place january 09 transfers to august 08

than you ought to remove the injuries as well.

If you are saying that Arshavin is playing for arsenal in august 2008, diarra in madrid and etc

than the healthy players whom were injured before should also be healthy

this is called COMMON SENSE.

SI games did great with the patch

but database fails.

Also how dumb is it not to edit injuries?

1-) you either place january transfers in january and leave the injuries there

or

2-) place the january transfers to the beg. of the season and remove the injuries

These are the common sense options.

Well there was never a 3d match engine and in this year they have it

If it is a realistic game as you say than Arshavin was playing in Zenit in 2008 as i remember not for arsenal.

They've done a hard job trying to keep up with real life transfers, and they've provided you the tools, for free, to make any other changes you wish to make.

well enjoy your season with Diarra in Madrid but Inter Milan has Chivu, Samuel injured for months while they are not

I can see this thread getting nowhere fast. The database is the way it is. No amount of moaning will change it.

If you feel it is a serious issue, please bring it up in the Data Issues forum, which will ensure the right people review your request for future releases.
