After a couple of bad results (and I mean literally a couple) several players who were used as rotation/backup all demanded first team football. I told the media that they are back up to the first squad and be patient. Most continued complaining, and a few handed in transfer requests, which I accepted. Two things have results from this - I'm now much lower in the league without a win in 7 due to low confidence, and all my best players, who happen to be on deals that expire soon, are refusing to re-sign, and the vultures are circling so to speak. soapy Posted February 26, 2009 Share Posted February 26, 2009 My clubs morale collapsed with three games to go in a title race with only two points separating Arsenal and my boys all because the a bunch of uppity talentless reserve players decided they could do a better job after we got knock out of the Champions League (in the semis) and drew two Prem games all in the space of about a week.
